Gloucestershire Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (GRASAC)

We provide emotional and practical support to both male and female victims and survivors of rape, sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse. Please see our website to access further information about the range of specialist services we provide.

If you need someone to talk to, you can contact us on our confidential helpline. You can also have regular face to face support sessions with a dedicated specialist support worker.

Our support workers and volunteers are all women, who are trained to work with survivors of rape and sexual abuse. They will support you at your own pace, explaining what your options and rights are and guide you through the process of recovery– most importantly of all, we will always believe you.

Our Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) can support and advise people who have been raped or sexually abused. The ISVA will offer practical support for anyone who has reported to the police or is thinking about doing so. The ISVA will be sensitive to your needs and will help you to make informed choices.
